5 September 2016 | The Westin, Singapore
The AVCJ ESG Forum returns on 5 September 2016 at The Westin Singapore. Building on the success of our launch event in Hong Kong, we will once again play host to GPs, LPs and advisors from Asia and further afield for discussions on managing, implementing and utlising ESG across a portfolio.
A sound ESG framework is a must-have element for GPs that want to have a comprehensive risk management program and also drive returns by creating businesses are efficient, compliant and appealing to a wider range of prospective buyers. ESG competency is also a means of demonstrating the foresight to tackle global issues and a willingness to be benchmarked against one's global peers.
At the same time, LP engagement on ESG will only widen and deepen. Institutional investors increasingly want private equity managers to develop a comprehensive approach in this area, building on framework policies with evidence that these policies work. The forum will include workshops, group discussions and case studies with local and international LPs that are passionate about investing in funds committed to ESG.
This event is presented in collaboration with PRI in Person 2016, the world's leading responsible investment event, which is marking its 10th anniversary by returning to Asia for the first time since 2008. The PRI event takes place in Singapore, from 6-8 September.
